Night shoots are always fun. The Perseid meteor shower was roughly August 9 -12, I tried to get some cool meteor shots but met with limited success. I still took advantage of the night sky, and the fact that we were still pretty close to the made for some cool lighting.

The next night I was able to catch some cool photos of lightning over the dry Rio Grande river, and ran away from a big angry dog protecting the irrigation bank.

Time lapse

Something I'd like to try sometime is making a good time lapse. Before I get my own done here's one to provide some inspiration, and it's completely magnificent. Love it.
